COVID-19: The Current Situation at EJEF
EJEF COVID-19 MEASURES
We have started conducting face-to-face teaching at EJEF Study Centre from the 13th July. To protect our students, tutors and staff, we would like everyone at EJEF to adhere to the following EJEF rules:
*Everyone to wear a face mask.
*Tutors to wear a face shield during lessons (as well as a mask or instead of a mask).
*Both students and tutors/staff to keep a record of their body temperature twice a day. Please come to EJEF Office on arrival at EJEF each weekday for this purpose.
For your information, your normal body temperature is approximately 37C. A fever is usually when your body temperature is 37.8C or higher. You may feel warm, cold or/and shivery.
*Pay attention to social distancing (we shall be using large-sized classrooms)
*Make sure windows in classrooms are open
*Wash hands regularly
*Use hand sanitisers which will be placed in every classroom
*Use anti-bacterial surface cleanser which will be placed in every classroom to clean desks and frequently used areas.
*As the Lane End Conference Centre is not fully opened yet, we will not be able to provide you with the usual set meals. However, prepacked sandwiches will be prepared for you every weekday. We shall be invoicing you for lunches at the end of every month.
*We would like to advise students to avoid going to any crowded places at any time especially using public transport. There are many lovely areas around Lane End where you could go for a long walk enjoying the English countryside and nature. You can also enjoy playing tennis (singles only) and footgolf and go jogging on the LECC fitness trail.
*According to recent UK Government guidelines, we should be able to open our gym and the table tennis room from the 25th July.
Please take very good care of yourselves and stay safe.
